Technology-Enhanced Instruction Rooms & Reservations
Computer labs and instructional spaces for classes requiring specialized technologyPriority use of Library instruction rooms is given to classes receiving Library instruction. Faculty may also reserve these spaces for classes requiring technology that is not available in their regularly assigned classrooms.
Library Computers @ Learning Commons (LCLC)
The Library Computers @ Learning Commons (LCLC) on the first floor of the Library is a dedicated instructional computer lab equipped with an instructor's PC, video projector, Smart Podium, and 60 PCs that can be monitored by the instructor.
The LCLC can be divided into two areas: a front lab with 32 PCs and a back lab with 28 PCs.
Technology-Enhanced Instruction Rooms
RT 502
The RT 502 instruction room is equipped with an instructor's PC, video projector, Smart Board, document camera, video cameras, and ceiling microphone for hybrid in-person and remote instruction.
A cart with 36 laptops is available for hands-on computer instruction. RT 502 can accommodate 36 people at tables or 45 with additional chairs.
RT 401A
The RT 401A instruction room is equipped with an instructor's PC, video projector, Smart Board, document camera, and VCR/DVD player.
RT 401A can accommodate 30 people at tables or 36 with additional chairs.
Reservations and Library Instruction
To arrange for a librarian to provide Library instruction in one of these spaces, contact your subject librarian.
To schedule a lab or technology-enhanced instruction room for other purposes, call (216) 687-2449.
Faculty are welcome to reserve the rooms for special class sessions, but because the Library provides instruction to several hundred classes each semester, the rooms may not be booked regularly for an entire semester.
