Instruction for Classes
The Library provides a number of instructional opportunities and resources for students and faculty. Faculty and librarians often collaborate to give Library instruction sessions tailored to specific classes.
Librarians conduct sessions on locating, evaluating, and effectively using information in their areas of expertise. Whether students are initiating a research project of having difficulty in accessing resources for a class assignment, a librarian can be called upon for a demonstration, lecture or hands-on workshop.
The Library also has four state-of-the-art electronic classrooms available for instruction. RT 401 and RT 502 are equipped with interactive touch-enabled projection screens and wireless laptops. The front and back labs of the Library Computers @ Learning Commons (LCLC), may also be reserved for Library Instruction.
To inquire about scheduling an instruction session, or to get help doing research in a specific field of study contact the appropriate subject librarian.
