- Congress.gov (formerly THOMAS): The official website for U.S. federal legislative information.
- GovInfo: A service of the United States Government Publishing Office (GPO), it provides free online access to official publications from all three branches of the Federal Government. Formerly FDsys.
- Ohio Secretary of State Publications
- Public Records Online (NETR Online): A portal to official state web sites, and to Tax Assessors' and Recorders' offices that have developed web sites for the retrieval of available public records over the internet.
General
- Cleveland State University Michael Schwartz Library: Government Research Guide: Compiled and vetted resources for doing research. Some of the resources may require remote authentication from off-campus.
- Government Information Online - Ask a Librarian: A free online information service staffed by government information librarians from Federal depository libraries across the United States.
Cleveland / Cuyahoga / Ohio
- Cities, Townships & Counties (ohio.gov): Provides linkage to different government websites. Includes local tax information.
- City of Cleveland: Official government website for the city of Cleveland. Includes links to the Mayor's office and other city offices.
- Cleveland City Council: Members, addresses, biographies, committee memberships, and list of wards represented for Cleveland City Council members. Includes calendar of committee meetings.
- Cuyahoga County: The official government website of Cuyahoga County.
- State of Ohio: Information on the executive, judicial, and legislative branches of the Ohio government including addresses and committee membership. Links to state agencies. Allows zip code searching for Senators and House Representatives.
