Your Question

Some examples of questions appropriate for this service:

  • requests for brief factual or statistical information help with an incomplete citation identification of a historical fact
  • biographical information

Be sure to indicate any sources you have already used. For questions that your instructor has given as a class assignment, stop in and ask in person. We're here to help you learn how to do research for yourself.

You will normally receive a response to your question within 2 working days. However, we may need to contact you for clarification, which might require additional time.

If you need an answer sooner:

  • give us a call at (216) 687-5300
  • stop in and visit us in person on the Library's first floor whenever the library is open

Remember you may use Scholar, the Library's online catalog, to check on the availability of a specific book or journal.

A note on confidentiality:
Submissions will be saved on the CSU email system for approximately one month for statistical purposes and in order to insure proper tracking of questions. After one month, all messages will be deleted. The Library does not maintain an archive of questions associated with names of individuals requesting information.
