Possession or use of intoxicating liqour on University property with the exception that residents of the Tower Residence Halls may possess and/or consume intoxicating liquor on dorm floors if they are 21 years or older. Possession and consumption of 3.2 beer on University property is limited to the premises of Fat Glenn's in University Hall. 3/12/70 (70-14) Amended policy governing the policy of 3.2 beer on campus: "Only CSU faculty, staff, students, and their guests shall be admitted; students from other colleges may be admitted depending on program and facilities." 5/12/71 (71-40) Amended Section IV (Student Conduct & Discipline), Student Bill of Rights & Responsibilities. 4/13/72 (72-24) Added Section IV.f (Procedure for Appeals of Traffic Violations), amended Sections E.7 & E. 10, and deleted Section D.4 from Student Bill of Rights & Responsibilities. 1/15/75 (75-8) "Policy for the Service of Alcoholic Beverages to Students at Fat Glenn's and the University Center Coffee House" approved. 11/12/80 (80-51) Adopted the University Regulations for Student Conduct, superceding all pre-exisiting regulations with which they conflict (including the Student Bill of Rights & Responsibilites). 9/22/93 (93-73) Revised Student Conduct Code approved effective 10/10/93. 6/21/2000 (2000-34) Revised Student Conduct Code approved. 10/24/01 (01-57) Revised Student Conduct Code to assure students' due process rights throughout the academic year. 2/27/02 (02-05) Approved addition allowing notification of parents or guardians when a student under the age of 21 has violated the alcohol or drug policies. 11/12/04 (04-69) Approved revisions in the wording referencing a time frame in which certain actions must occur. 7/29/05 (05-41) Approved revisions to bring the code in line with the Family Educational Privacy Rights Act. 5/20/14 (14-21) Changes to the Student Code of Conduct, pertaining to violations and to be consistent with the previously Board-approved Affirmative Action, Equal Access, Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination/Harassment and Discrimination/Harassment policies approved. 11/19/14 Student Code of Conduct Rules 3344-83-01 - 3344-83-12 amended to ensure compliance with state and Federal laws
