BUILDING NAMES POLICY
 

6/14/72   (72-48)
     Approved revising Trustees' By-Laws, Section 5.4: "It shall be the policy of CSU to name specific buildings or other physical facilities so as to honor and recognize persons who have made extraordinary and distinctive contributions to the development of this University, or to learning in Ohio."
 
6/14/72   (72-49)
     Resolved that temporary designations for University facilities may be approved by the President.  These temporary designations will generally relate to the building's functions, geographic location, or other appropriate physical or program identification.
 
4/29/75   (75-31)
     Approved revising Trustee's By-Laws, Sec. 5.4,  Policy for the Naming of Buildings & Major Facilities at Cleveland State University.
 
6/11/75   (75-43)
     Revised Trustees By-Laws, Sec. 5.4; Trustees shall name any University builidngs and structures.  Intertested parties may direct recommendations to the President.
