PRESIDENTIAL SEARCHES 6/8/88 Approved amended resolution relating to faculty involvement in the President Search. 10/12/88 Requested a response from the Trustees relating to faculty involvement in the Presidential Search. 11/13/91 Endorsed Steering Comm. letter to Trustees urging a speedy commencement of the presidential search process. 12/4/91 Senate's executive leadership authorized to draft a resolution to the Trustees stating the Senate's view that there should be no less than 3 representatives on the Presidential Search Committee. 1/15/92 Motion that faculty representatives to the Presidential Search Committee be instructed to hold the position that the public input be at closed meetings, failed. 11/8/00 Approved motion that the search for a new president begin as soon as possible. 12/8/00 Approved resolution requesting that the search committee be expanded to include additional representatives from the faculty, administration, staff and student body, 4/8/09 (Report No. 27) Motion that seven senators who represent each college and the Senate President would meet with the presidential candidates failed. 5/6/09 (Report No. 28) Resolution of commendation for CSU President Michael Schwartz.
