     Proposal adressing faculty concerns on basic programs, program quality, student needs, research, graduate v. undergraduate, and societal values as supplements to cost effectiveness considerations postponed.

     Approved recommending that three representatives appointed by FAC and three representatives appointed by the President draw up a conjoint planning process that will assure full faculty participation at every stage of the on-going five-year planning process.
