Reps. to the Univ. Budget Comm. to reach a positive disposition in the matter of faculty salary raises for FY 1992. 4/10/91 Created faculty committee (appointed by Steering Committee) to: 1) Collect FY 1992 faculty salary increases from Ohio's state universities. 2) Compare salary increases between non-union and unionized faculties. 3) Determine hoe administrations with union faculties are able to meet union contract mandated faculty salary increases. 4/10/91 Created a 7 member faculty committee to deal the budget building process. 4/10/91 Two resolutions recommending that all CSU officials accept the same 2% average salary increase for FY 1992, and that all FY 1992 pay raises be across the board with merit for future years to include an evaluation of work performed this year. 5/8/91 Salary Comparison Committee's report on the range of faculty salary increases in Ohio received; will be presented to the Trustees along with Dr. Hemann's previous report. 3/11/92 Approved motion to reinstate faculty representation to the University Budget Committee. 4/8/92 Approved initiating letter writing campaign with regard to current budget crisis 4/3/02 Approved motion recommending the proportion of funds allocated to instructional and department research be incrased by a minimum of 2% per year until not less than 55% of annual resources are allocated for support of instructional and departmental research.
