Comm. to make mid-year progress report. 2/6/80 Athletics Comm. mid-year progress report on implementation of Federal Title IX requirements at CSU received. 4/2/80 Admissions & Standards Comm. report on administration of athletic eligibility standards received. Adopted two motions specifying more explicitly the requirements for "maintaining satisfactory progress". 1/7/81 Instructed CSU faculty NCAA representative to vote against legislation pending that would initiate Divison I women's sports post-season tornaments. 1/13/82 Athletics Comm. report on comparartive expenditures for women's and men's athletic programs received. Comm. directed to prepare an evaluation of data and recommendations within two months. 5/10/89 Approved change of definition of "satisfactory progress" for student athletes. 6/10/92 Approved realigning CSU teams to further equal opportunity for women in intercollegiate athletics. 6/10/92 Affirmed Senate's belief pursuant to Senate's By-Law, Para. 8.2.7. i) that the Athletics Committee is the appropriate body to monitor compliance with applicable regulations governing equal opportunity for women in athletics, and that the Administration discontinue the use of the ad hoc committee for this purpose. 4/4/07 (Report No. 24) Approved policy providing flexibility in timeframe allowed for completion of coursework
