PROJECT OUTLINE



          1. Develope a "Guide for Statistics" with emphasis on
             computer solutions of data sets using SAS and MYSTAT.

             A.  Cover each chapter with short, descriptive text.

             B.  Develope practical problems with step by step
                 solutions and interpretations of results.  The
                 emphasis is on data analysis using the computer.
                 Computer statements and printouts will be illustrated
                 using both SAS and MYSTAT.

             C.  Illustrate key terms and equations.

             D.  Provide a sample exam on relevant material in
                 each chapter.


          2. Publish the above under the title "A Quick Guide to
             Statistics: Strategies for Problem Solving Using the
             Computer"


          3. Test the manual in undergraduate and graduate statistics
             and data analysis classes to determine whether or not it
             enhances the performance of students.

          4. Test the manual by having 11 real world 11 practioners use
             and evaluate it.
