EJC Saved Searches

The OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center (EJC) provides access to the full text of articles in over 6,000 online research journals covering many subject areas. By using the EJC's email notification, you can keep up to date with recent articles in your field from EJC journals.

Setting Up Your Saved Search Account

  • Go to the Electronic Journal Center homepage and click on Log In to My EJC in the upper right corner of the page.
  • In the window that pops up, click on the My EJC Account Registration that appears above the big blue Log In button.
  • Fill in the requested information on the form that pops up and click the Create button.
  • It is essential that you note your User Name and ID. Once registered, you should use the Login link at the top of the page for setting up or modifying New Issue Alerts.

To Create Saved Search Alerts

  • Log on in My EJC using your user name and password
  • Go to the search form and do a search on your topic
  • Click on Save Search link (it appears at the right of the page for desk-top and tablet users and the bottom of the screen for smartphone users).
  • Click on the Create button in the pop-up box.
  • Enter a name for your search then close the pop-up box..

The OhioLINK EJC will now run the search and email you the results.

To Review or Delete

My EJC Menu
  • Log on in My EJC using your user name and password
  • At the top right of the page, click on the down arrow next to your email address and choose My SEARCHES. A pop-up box will appear with a list of all your saved search.
  • To delete a saved search, click on the trashcan icon next to it.
  • Close the pop-up box.
