"FC will be happy to receive any proposal for educational reform through its Steering Comm. and from students or faculty, either independently or in groups. 6/4/69 Task Force on Black Studies report received. 8/14/70 UCC report tabled and returned to Comm. 3/3/71 Approved course requirements dealing with urban & social problems of contemporary society (Group IV) Approved amended University graduation requirements in Black Studies. 6/2/71 Approved four amendments to the Black Studies program proposal (submitted 3/3/71) and adopted as Group IV requirements. 11/8/95 Black Studies minor program approved. 5/5/04 (Report No. 31) Relocated the Black Studies program to CLASS. 1/15/14 (Report No. 37) Approved undergraduate program 4 to 3 credit hour course revisions. 11/2/16 Tri-C/CSU 2+2 Agreement approved. 12/2/20 (Report No. 29) Black Studies program revised in light of program review.
