The Faragher Collection is comprised of approximately 1,000 glass plate negatives and prints from the Faragher Construction Company and the Fairmount Nurseries, two companies in Cleveland in the early part of this century.
The Faragher Construction shots show such things as the building of water intake tunnels under Lake Erie, miscellaneous structures in Cleveland and some activities in Wisconsin. Pictured at the left is the construction of Cleveland's City Hall in 1914, and below that are two shots of "Smead's Rolling Road," also in Cleveland.
The Fairmount Nurseries material largely consists of tree planting pictures from the eastern suburbs in Cleveland's heights area, such as shown at the top right. At the bottom right is right is a landscape installation in some unnamed location.
