The Learning Communities area provides first-year students with a place to socialize with their peers, study in groups, interact with faculty or librarians, or just relax. Learning Communities consist of three or four classes, intentionally clustered together around an interdisciplinary theme.
Students enroll and attend the classes as a cohort. They study and learn as a group and often socialize together, which helps them make friends easily and become a community of learners.
